HannahMine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Part 46/48 Training

Throughout the United States, approximately 320,000 people work directly in mining, while another 3 million work in industries that support mining, including manufacturing. Exports of United States mined minerals total approximately $6 billion annually. Is your company a part of this?

Western Technologies was founded in 1955 on a culture of delivering a superior product at a fair price while working safely and efficiently. It is that core value that we live by each day and teach in every MSHA class. Our classes follow the regulations specified in the Federal Mine Safety Act of 1977, Title 30 Code of Federal Regulations Part 46, 47, 48, 56, 57, and 62.

In addition to MSHA regulations, we emphasize individual, team and corporate safety concepts. This training includes miner’s rights, responsibilities, hierarchy of safety controls, hazard recognition, the importance of conducting tailgate meetings, and completing the pre-shift hazard assessments.  Classes are taught by a certified MSHA, CPR and First-Aid instructor.
